Shane began riding for the JD’s team in 2007, were he competed in the National 600 and Superbike Classes.

Shane achieved excellent results in the Supersport 600 classes, and was lying 3rd in the National Championship when he had a high speed accident during the Manx Grand Prix in Aug 2007. This accident brought Shane’s 2007 season to an end.

After a high speed crash during the 2007 Manx Grand Prix, Shane will not be riding for the 2008 season, but will attend all of the race meetings to help Wayne.

After winning the Irish Clubman Superbike Championship in 2005, Wayne began riding for the JD’s team.

In 2006, John took Wayne under his wing, and consequently Wayne won the Irish Road Racing Support Championship on the JD’s Suzuki GSXR 750.

Wayne continued to ride for the Team in the national 600 and superbike classes for the 2007, and had mixed and commendable results in his first year of the national classes and in during what was a very difficult year for the Team.
